Design
The bordered layout draws on technical manuals and Swiss typography. Most pages use khaki and olive; Music uses violet, lime, pink, and cyan. Heptagons are my personal signature.
IBM Plex Mono is used for navigation and technical details, Sans for headings and project names, and Serif for reading text. Fonts and other page assets are served from this website.
Sevenfold, the homepage animation, takes its name from the heptagon's seven sides. It can be paused and stays still with reduced motion enabled.
Font licenses are available for IBM Plex Mono, IBM Plex Sans, and IBM Plex Serif.
Code
Astro and Deno generate static HTML pages. Navigation, reading, and the homepage animation work without JavaScript.
Music uses a local script to animate its photograph and background dots. Cursor positions are not saved or transmitted. With reduced motion enabled or JavaScript disabled, the photo and background stay still.
Privacy
The site code uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, third-party embeds, cookies, or browser storage. There are no accounts or contact forms.
Music details and covers are downloaded during builds and served locally. Your browser contacts SoundCloud only if you follow a listening or profile link.
External websites have their own privacy practices. Email links open your email application. Sending a message shares your address and message with me and the email services involved.
When you choose Reveal Email on Connect, a local script solves a short puzzle and contacts knock, my email reveal service hosted on Cloudflare. JavaScript is required. Cloudflare processes your IP address to handle the request. knock uses a keyed fingerprint of it for rate limits and keeps temporary challenge records to prevent reuse. Expired records are automatically removed. Revealed addresses are not saved in browser storage.
Hosting
Hosting is configured for Cloudflare Workers with optional Worker logs disabled. Cloudflare processes connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect websites, and collects platform metrics. Its Privacy Policy explains its data practices.
